Everyone must live with resource constraints, whether the resources are money, time or capabilities. What functions does your team spend too much time on? What activities aren’t being done that would add significant value to your organization? Managing resource constraints naturally includes prioritization; use of technology; organizational leadership; and right-locating of tasks. Treasury controls many significant financial levers for the organization, and those levers need to be managed. This requires time and focus, but many treasury departments indicate they are thinly staffed and are expected to do more than their resources support.
This session offers a way of rethinking resource constraints to better optimize treasury’s performance and a way to better add value to the organization.
