The evolution of the payments industry continues apace. This presentation will provide attendees with an overview of recent and upcoming developments in the world of payments. The ACH Network remains “tried and true,” while other networks grow; Zelle® works to overcome concerns around fraud/scams, The Clearing House’s Real Time Payments (RTP®) network continues its steady march toward its goal of ubiquity, and the Fed plans to launch FedNowSM in the May-July 2023 timeframe. The session will also touch on advancements in credit and debit card and mobile payments, and fraud and security.
